Structured Communications Cabling Systems Design
It's the least glamorous part of business communications technology -- the conduit and cables hidden behind walls and above ceilings; unseen by end users. However, that underlying physical infrastructure is critical to the performance and effectiveness of the networks and systems that it transports. Our consultants are expertly trained and experienced in best practices and industry standards of Structured Communications Cabling systems and supporting infrastructure. Our team includes project managers, designers, BICSI-certified RCDDs, and CAD professionals who are adept at conveying technology infrastructure needs into drawings and specifications that are integrated into architectural and engineering design. This includes the design of:
- Technology spaces such as server rooms, riser rooms, MPOEs, MDFs, BDFs, and IDFs
- Cable pathways including conduits, cable trays and conveyance methods
- Structured communications cabling systems including horizontal, backbone and riser cabling, cable administration and cable management.
On construction projects, our consultants are experienced and trained to work as part of an Architectural and Engineering team. We develop construction documents, understand the Architectural Phasing of a project, and know how to provide critical information to the engineering teams. We are adept at translating our clients' technology requirements into information that the Architectural and Engineering teams can understand. This translation ultimately ensures that our clients' requirements are met.
